For choices and quality it's worth the trip to Taroom.

>> For single-brand Charbray lines, Huntington is the biggest offering in Australia. For high-impact Charolais genetics, our sale offers premium lots from two leading studs, Huntington, and our guest vendors, Branchview Charolais.

This years's Huntington Charolais and Charbray sale will be held at Taroom Saleyards on Friday, October 1, 2010. Our catalogue includes 70 Charolais bulls (25 of these are offered by guest vendors Branchview Charolais of Mt Ross, Dalby), 80 Charbray bulls, and 40 registered Charbray females, all unjoined. The catalogue can be viewed online here.

The Spring sale is the premier event on our calendar and we like to treat it as a real occasion. This year we have a flash new stainless steel barbecue (we prefer to call it a charbecue) which one buyer will take home after the sale. Every lot purchased gives buyers another chance to win, and all bid card holders will be treated to a succulent sizzling steak straight from the charbecue!

Over the past decade the Huntington sale has grown from 50 Charolais and 10 Charbrays in 1998 to this year's offering of 150 bulls and 40 females. Even more satisfying is the growth in our client territory base. In recent years, new buyers in northern areas report great results with Huntington bloodlines, and this year we have taken bulls to combined western sales where we have received extremely positive feedback from buyers, backed up with overwhelming endorsement in sales results.

Welsh Cattle Company thanks these buyers, as well as all our repeat clients, and hope to catch up with you all at our sale on October 1, which we promise will live up to all expectations in quality, hospitality and excitement.
