While not directly involved with the running of Welsh Cattle Co, Anita Wright (nee Welsh) has a keen interest in the operation's progress and, with husband Shane, is always willing to help where ever they can.

Shane and Anita and their three children Sarah, Jeremy and Jack hail from Allora, where the Wright family owns and operates a state of the art dairying enterprise.

Being a Primary School Principal Anita's attention to detail and diligence, especially keeping to a time table, gives rise to many a motivational phone call to say "C’mon fellas pull your socks up" especially on the marketing side of things.

Shane’s knowledge in the farming and silage making field, not to mention his AI & ET experience can be extremely useful when called upon. Unfortunately, when it comes to the football field, being an ex back he just doesn’t quite cut it.

Anita runs a handful of stud cows at Huntington, and the rest of the extended Welsh family believes this is very important for the Wright children’s education ~ we can’t have them growing up believing all cattle are black and white.
