Luke, Keryn, Claudia, Eloise and Lucia Welsh

Luke and Keryn reside at Parklands with their three girls.

While Luke is outnumbered four to one in the home, the gender balance is more than restored in the paddocks, as Parklands operates as the Huntington Bull Depot.

Luke and Keryn are a happy combination of diverse talents and opposing predilections.

Keryn has been quoted as saying she misses the booing and bellowing at the end of the main bull selling season; from often muttered comments we are more than certain that Luke does not.

Mention stock pedigrees or best fodder crops to plant and Luke is an encyclopaedia; mention figures and he immediately points to Keryn, a qualified accountant and a great asset to the Welsh Cattle Co team.

Life with most young families can be quite busy and Luke and Keryn are certainly no exception.

Luke is inclined to drop everything for a yarn (one of his greatest talents and partialities, which renders him completely oblivious to Keryn's fussing around keeping the three young girls entertained while weighty matters of grave importance are discussed by their father). However, one only has to meet Claudia, definitely Eloise and baby Lucia to know things are about to change: We predict it won't be long before Luke is educated to the fact that the only matters requiring his undivided attention are those directly affecting the livelihood and wellbeing of his three daughters.

Luke and Keryn enjoy an active involvement in the local community. Keryn's credentials makes her a popular elect for positions on committee executives, especially in treasurer/secretary roles. This is often evident upon visits to Parklands where she can be found busily completing a local kindergarten BAS or such-like. Luke on the other hand has been known to pull out the old photo album to show the girls his hard running prowess on the footy field, which, in his heyday, helped bring home a number of premierships for the Taroom Battlers.
